‘Blobs Fish’ is a candlestick holder suitable for holding one single candle. The body of the fish has been decorated with hand-painted lines and overlays of coloured blobs, continuing across the fin and tail. A cheeky single eye and puckered lips add extra playfulness! For sturdy support, the ceramic base has been painted light grey and helps to catch melting wax.

Inspired by the Tate + DARN collaboration, ceramic artist and designer Alice Johnson has created a very special collection of ceramics for us.

Taking note from the works of British fisherman and artist Alfred Wallis, each boat and fish has its own character with Alice’s humorous and nostalgic touch. Designed and made in London, materials such as terracotta, porcelain slip and glaze, combined with a slap build technique, have been used to bring charming shapes and textures to life.

Alice's signature style evokes a sense of joy, so we know this collection will bring a smile to your face! A pro at creating wobbly pots, ceramic bits n bobs and pottery pets, Alice Johnson is based between London and Stroud.
