Hand-painted with pops of colour from head to tail, ‘Rainbow Fish’ is a playful candlestick holder suitable for holding a single candle - or if you would prefer as seen here, a flower. Standing out again the light coloured body, odd shapes and lines in tones of pink, purple, green, blue and brown add a unique personality on top of a terracotta tone base that helps to keep the design sturdy. Adding extra charm, a slightly open mouth, circular cheeks and beady eyes make ‘Rainbow Fish’ a cheeky addition to any space.

Inspired by the Tate + DARN collaboration, ceramic artist and designer Alice Johnson has created a very special collection of ceramics for us.

Taking note from the works of British fisherman and artist Alfred Wallis, each boat and fish has its own character with Alice’s humorous and nostalgic touch. Designed and made in London, materials such as terracotta, porcelain slip and glaze, combined with a slap build technique, have been used to bring charming shapes and textures to life.

Alice's signature style evokes a sense of joy, so we know this collection will bring a smile to your face! A pro at creating wobbly pots, ceramic bits n bobs and pottery pets, Alice Johnson is based between London and Stroud.
