The Chemise Six, as part of the very first collection of DARN shirts. Constructed from medium weight vintage French linen selected from my own personal collection, accumulated over time during visits to antique markets in France and the UK, this lightweight summer shirt has a slightly cropped fit with no fusing to allow the fabric to fall at its natural form. Totally unique and one of a kind, a striped epaulet detail across the top of the shoulders and the edge of either sleeve adds a playful element to a classic shape whilst the collar neckline has a neat, pointed shape. Below this, chunky black vintage buttons have been chosen for the front fastening and lead to a cut out embroidery detail on the base of the hem, which has been duplicated above either sleeve cuff.
