DARN X FABLE TRAVEL

I was recently commissioned by the wonderful team at Fable Travel to design a special scarf to send to their clients in America for Thanksgiving. It was such a generous idea, and a joy to collaborate on a piece that tells the story behind Fable itself. We wove subtle narrative details throughout the design—symbols of luck tucked into each corner, and visual references to the regions Fable Travel represents: Scotland, Ireland, and the UK.

One of Fable’s core storylines features a dove, so we incorporated this motif at the heart of the design, surrounded by a pattern inspired by a postage stamp—bringing a touch of travel into the artwork.

Fable is a luxury UK & Ireland DMC focused on truly tailored itineraries, bespoke experiences, and exceptional concierge service to create unforgettable stories for their clients. Their mission is for clients to return home with unique stories of their own.

Inspired by the fable The Dove & The Ant—Little Friends May Prove Great Friends—Fable embodies this message through their high-touch concierge service. Acting as the “little friends” on the ground, they make a big impact on each client’s journey, ensuring every experience is seamless, meaningful, and memorable.

It was an absolute pleasure collaborating with Molly and Rita on this commission, and I hope the scarves have been warmly received and continue to bring luck and inspiration for travel to all of their clients.
