Inspired by the Tate + DARN collaboration, ceramic artist and designer Alice Johnson has created a very special 11-piece collection of ceramics for us.

On a blustery autumn morning we watched the best horse ever, Monty, gallop around wide-open fields with rider Quillie. Fresh out of bed, there was no need to change out of her Tonto PJ Set (Bleue) which is decorated with an all-over DARN x Ruth Blanke horse print - how appropriate!

For four weeks in the summer of 2022, DARN hosted its first ‘DARN & Friends’ pop-up space event at the Surfhouse in St Ives, Cornwall. Positioned on the famous Island point on the Northwest coastline, brands such as DARN, oB Wear, Bug Clothing, Pico Goods, Francli Craftwear and Martino Gamper were invited to present their designs in the space…

Tate + DARN. Paying homage to the artists who once lived and worked in the town, inspiration was drawn from the work of Alfred Wallis in particular. The Tate + DARN silk scarf design will be available to purchase at the Tate St Ives and Tate Britain.

We wanted to create a really special packaging for the collaborative Rory Blair x DARN silk scarf design.

Rory Blair is a conceptual artist based in Falmouth and London. His photography is a stream of metaphysical semi consciousness. Together we have created a collaborative 100% silk scarf design featuring a digital print of Rory’s original moon photograph.
